Folks interested in learning how to prepare a low-cost no-dig composted garden bed that will maximize fruit and vegetable yields while minimizing water usage are invited to participate in a hands-on workshop from 11 a.m. - 1 pm on Saturday, March 13th in Fort Collins. Happy Lucky's Teahouse is our meeting site for April 7th at 6;30pm. We can bring food to the meeting (as long as it isn't desert-types). This meeting will be focused on the upcoming Starter Barter/Plant Exchange and Sale and evaluating the previous Seed Swap for next year. Happy Lucky's is located in the Old Firehouse on Walnut Street (near the Silver Grill).

George (the owner) says it's ok to brown bag it but do enjoy their great teas, infusions and pastries! (They even have coffee if you're desperate!)

  Home Grown Food Starter Barter and Plant Sale
The Second Annual Starter Barter and Plant Sale will be at Avogadro's Number again this year. Bring your vegetable starts to trade with other or come find something you need that you can purchase. Home Grown Food People are bringing plants they've started, some from the seeds sold at the Seed Swap. You can talk to others and learn more about growing your own Food from people who are doing it! Time to be determined...check back for more info later.
